OnlyFans announced it has suspended a planned ban on explicit sexual content after securing assurances from financial partners, reversing a policy change that had been set to take effect on October 1. The company said the reversal will allow creators to continue posting explicit material on the platform.
OnlyFans said the decision preserves income for more than 2 million creators who use the site to monetize subscription-based content. With about 130 million registered users, the platform said it will continue working with payment and banking partners while maintaining policies that support creators.
